Contemporary Austin Jones Center
Downtown · Austin, Texas
The Contemporary Austin's Jones Center is the downtown flagship of one of Austin's most ambitious contemporary art institutions, presenting rotating exhibitions - including significant site-specific commissions and large-scale installations - in a beautifully renovated historic building on Congress Avenue. The Jones Center's central location makes it genuinely accessible to the full Austin community, and its programming consistently reflects the full range of contemporary artistic practice, from painting and sculpture to video, performance, and works that defy easy categorization. The Contemporary Austin also operates Laguna Gloria, an outdoor sculpture campus on Lake Austin, giving the institution an extraordinary range of presentation contexts.
